DataSkills4SMEs will use an online learning platform to deliver training and courses to the employees of SMEs who will join the training scheme.

The Learning Management system that we will use is the Moodle platform – an application largely adopted by E-learning centres worldwide.

Moodle has been developed, and is continuously updated, in order to provide learners with suitable tools to keep in touch with trainers. It provides a large repository of resources: media, forum, wiki and socials in order to share ideas, impressions and knowledge. Contents of the courses will be partly in electronic paper (pdf) and mostly in video courses and tutorials and it will be accessible by any device, smartphones included.

Every learning content will be designed and monitored by a designer with training expertise, whose aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of the learning path. Evaluation and self-assessment are very important: they will take by means of questions, essays and short interview. In this way, trainers and learners will be able to periodically check the quality and effectiveness of the courses.
